2018 End of Year Empties

Happy New Year everyone!!! Can you all believe we are really in 2019.  Like I’m so not ready for this year. My first post in the new year will be a 2018 End of Year Empties. I am sure there are many more empties I could have added whether that they be good or bad. I decided to simply do 8 products that I emptied (and most likely repurchased). So I guess technically this isn’t a complete empties post, but hopefully you get where I am going.

This year I did purchase a few high end products but I haven’t completely finished them so they didn’t make the post. However, I still wanted to post the few products I have used.

Biore Charcoal Facial Mask

This was a random pick up in Wal-Mart. This was actually the first charcoal product I used. I hate to say it but it was definitely a no for me. When I put the product on I felt a tingle which wasn’t alarming to me; it actually felt soothing. I left it on for the recommended time washed it off and my face felt fine. When I woke up the next morning and my face had broken out. I mean the entire bottom of my face. It was bad. My sister used the same product on the same night and she had no problems with it. So I won’t give the product a complete no. However, I will say if you have sensitive skin then this may not be a mask for you.

Freeman’s Blue Mask

I definitely will be repurchasing this mask and a few of the other ones from this brand. My face didn’t break out and I felt refreshed after taking the mask off.

Covergirl Tru Blend Matte Made Foundation

I won’t say too much because I will definitely have a post coming soon reviewing this product. So stay tuned :)!

Benefits Pore Professional Primer

I love this primer. I repurchased two of them during Ulta’s 12 weeks of beauty. It goes on matte which I love. I felt like it assisted in keeping my makeup in tact and my oil reduced the first time I tried it. Now it is in my makeup routine along with a couple other primers.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Cleansing and Water Gel

I did a review on these products here. These two products were purchased due to having dry flaky patches on my face. I actually haven’t repurchased since finishing these; however, I can definitely see myself picking these products up again.

KISS Fine Precision Pencil

Before using this pencil I was using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Pomade. My sister introduced me to this eyebrow pencil and I have been hooked ever since. It’s a hair store eyebrow pencil that gives off great color and

Beauty Bakery Flour Setting Powder

Let me just say that I love this brand. The concept and the packaging is just great. I purchased this setting powder along with a few lippies this year. Honestly, the setting powder emptied before I knew it. I used this setting powder to set my face prior to putting on my foundation. What sold me on this powder was of course the matte finish that it promises. Although translucent it does have a hint of color in it. This is great as it helps in not giving you a ghost look.

O’Keeffe’s Healthy Feet

So this is a tad bit unusual. However, I added this product because it has definitely helped. The cream is a thick consistency that melts into the skin. It is softening and soothing. It can be a bit greasy so make sure to wash your hands after using.

Did you have any 2018 empties? I’d love to know what your products are!!

Sadly I didn’t, I’ve been such a minimalist lately. I hardly even wear make up anymore.
